ELECTIONS: SRC 12/13

Hey guys,

The SRC elections are here. Our term is coming to an end and we are looking for our successors. Applications are NOW OPEN until the 4th of April 2012.

Those who are interested can obtain the application forms from us at the SRC room in the student lounge. For those of you who are interested but still unsure, you can always speak to any of the council members to enquire about the job descriptions and the election process.

You can email us at src_reps@imu.edu.my and we can email you the specific job description of the post you are intending to run for. We will be putting up the job descriptions of all the positions outside the LIBRARY within the next few days.

Eligible candidates
- Anyone who is currently in Semester 2 or 3 from any course.

Timeline of events:

19 March – 4 April: Application for posts
5-6 April: Internal assessment
5-13 April: Apprenticeship and Campaigning
16-17 April: Hustings
17-19 April: Voting

The following are the positions that you guys can run for:

2. VP of Medicine
3.VP of Dentistry
4. VP of Medical Sciences
5. VP of Pharmacy
6. VP of Health Sciences
7. Secretary
8. Treasurer
9. Sports Representative
10. Social Concerns Representative
11. Cultural and Religious Representative
12. Public Relations Liaison
13. IT Liaison

Apart from the positions of Vice-President (for which only the relevant programmes can run), all other positions are open to all programmes, including President.
